Vietnam has always been on my Bucket List – mostly because of the famed Ha Long Bay. I had no idea how insanely beautiful the entire country would be. Our plan was to motorbike up the coast, from south to north, over 3 weeks. We nearly died (several times) but it was absolutely worth it! (And when I say it was worth it, I mean I would 100% never in my life do it again, but it was a kind-of-fun-but-mostly-terrifying-trip. But more about that another time!) These are some of the epic shots I captured on our journey:
It’s hard to pick a favorite city in this amazing country, but Ho Chi Minh (or Saigon, as the locals say), is definitely up there! Every night was spent strolling these vivid streets, sipping on the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had!
2. The Red Sand Dunes in Mui Ne
3. Unreal Sunset at Phan Ri Cua Fishing Village
We stopped in this little town for gas and food and happened to come across this killer sunset!
4. Nha Trang Beach
Yep, they have beaches too.
5. Super Fresh Seafood at Nha Trang
6. The Quaint Town of Hoi An
7. Motorbiking Through the Hai Van Pass
Formerly a strategic military spot and one of the most dangerous roads in the country. Now it’s more just a super-twisted highway that weaves through gorgeous mountains overlooking crystal waters.
8. Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park AKA The Most Beautiful Place on Earth
This place is also one of (if not) my favorite in all of Vietnam – dramatic landscapes, steep cliffs and dense jungles surrounded us while we motorbiked through this fairy tale land!
